Beneficiary Management System
How It Works
BMS Sync is a beneficiary and transfer management platform that can support cash distribution process from beginning to end. The BMS SYNC platform is developed using the latest technology and comprises of a web-based and android application used for beneficiary identification, distribution planning, transfers and distribution reporting.
Creating an Order
- An Order Is Created After Receipt Of Payment Instruction
- A Manifest (Mostly In Excel Format) Is Uploaded To The Server Where The System Picks Up Beneficiary Bio Data And Amount Payable.
- The Uploaded Manifest Is Attached To The Given Order.
- Worth Noting Is Selected Distribution Staff Are Assigned To The Given Order And Have Usernames And Passwords.
- Afterward, The Order And The Manifest Is Downloaded Onto The Field Server (Laptops)
Field Work
- Each Staff Is Assigned A POS Device And Uses His/Her Credentials To Make Payments
- The Payment Process Assumes As Follows:

- The System Informs FSP Of The Family Size Of That Beneficiary And The Amount To Be Paid
- The Beneficiary Is Paid And The POS Captures Fingerprint As Proof Of Payment (This Biometric Data Will Later Be Deleted As It is Currently Only Being Used As Proof Of Payment And Not For Identification)
Reporting
- Daily Reports Can Be Extracted Showing Households Paid For A Given Day Of The Distribution.
- Upon Completion Of The Distribution, The Data Is Synced Back To The Office Server.
- Finance Departments Are Then Able To Generate Required Reports/Summaries Key To Invoicing.
